Summer Nights in ARTIS Zoo
Every Saturday in July and August, ARTIS Zoo stays open until sunset for Summer Nights. During the golden hours, the park comes alive with music and food trucks. Enjoy a picnic, relax near the lions, go on a scavenger hunt, dance like a crane, and sing along with the gibbons. Purchase your Summer Night ticket and make the most of every Saturday evening this summer.

Please note: with a Summer Nights ticket, you may enter ARTIS Zoo from 4 pm. There are many activities for the whole family, and the main act starts at 7 pm.

The oldest zoo in The Netherlands and the fifth oldest in the world in the city center of Amsterdam. Discover the new lion enclosure.

Be amazed by the many species living side by side in the Forest House and Bird House. Scroll through the historic city park with its many monuments, centuries-old trees and beds full of colorful and fragrant flowers. Watch giraffes, zebras and kudus intermingling on the Savannah.
