The Chureito Pagoda (忠霊塔, Chūreitō) is a five storied pagoda on the mountainside overlooking Fujiyoshida City and Mount Fuji off in the distance. The pagoda is part of the Arakura Sengen Shrine and was built as a peace memorial in 1963 nearly 400 steps up the mountain from the shrine’s main buildings. If you want to go you have to walk approximately 400 stair step up to reach Shrine & you can see beautiful close view of mountains along with shrine.

Oshino Hakkai small Japanese old village in the Fuji Five Lake region, located between Lake Kawaguchiko and Lake Yamanakako on the site of a former sixth lake that dried out several hundred years ago. The eight ponds are fed by snow melt from the slopes of nearby Mount Fuji that filters down the mountain through porous layers of lava for over 80 years, resulting in very clear spring water that is revered by the locals. Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine is one of approximately 1,300 Asama shrines in Japan that enshrine the deity of volcanoes in general and Mount Fuji in particular. The shrine is part of the Mt. Fuji UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, designated in 2013. Asama shrines are dedicated to Konohanasakuya-hime (“cherry blossom princess”), the goddess of Mt. Fuji and all volcanoes in Japanese mythology. The vast majority of Asama shrines are within sight of Mt. Fuji; where this is not the case because of distance or obstructions, miniature replicas of Mt. Fuji made with rocks from the mountain are erected within the shrine grounds.

We suggest that to avoid traffic rush hours pick up early is better. if you go early like 7am or 7:15am or 7:30am or 7:45am then you can avoid traffic jam rush hours & you can see lots of places in mt Fuji.

Hiking season start in July, Aug, September mt Fuji 5th station entrance fees 2100¥ JPY per person cost. You can skip mt Fuji 5th station if you don’t want to go for hiking other locations you can see mt Fuji clear close view .
